Il s’agit d’un thermomètre gradué en degrés Fahrenheit de J. P. Dupuis ltée, une entreprise de bois et matériaux de construction qui vendait en gros et au détail, à Verdun. On y voit également indiqué l’adresse de la compagnie, soit 1084 Church Ave. (rue de l’Église). Il n’y a plus de quincaillerie à cet emplacement aujourd’hui.
