Teapot
The teapot is complete; a break in the spout was repaired first with spikes, then with glue. It is globular in shape, with a rounded shoulder and a flat top, at the center of which emerges a slightly flared neck. The base is flared and the foot is solid; the underside is flat and glaze-free. The teapot is fitted with a vertical handle of half-oval cross-section, the upper end of which is attached to the shoulder, while the other is attached to the wall and ends in an oval tail. Opposite the handle is a circular spout, curved outwards like a swan’s beak, with a flat end. The spout communicates with the wall through a filter with three circular holes. The body is beige in color and covered with a shiny white enamel. The base of the spout has two pairs of holes on opposite sides, which have retained the trace of a rusty iron spike; the decoration is hand-painted in blue underglaze. It is floral in style. The painted decoration is visible on the outer wall, as well as on the spout and handle. The decoration is traced and painted in pale and dark blue. The decoration on the outer wall is repeated on the opposite walls and is surrounded by a double fillet. Between the handle and the spout, the decoration is composed of leafy, flowering stems. They are bordered by leaves resting on the upper and lower fillets. The face of the handle is decorated with a row of large superimposed lines. The spout features a leafy, flowering stem on the outside and superimposed lines on the top.
