Teapot reproduction

The teapot is complete; the wall has a crack. It is circular in shape. The wall is rounded. The shoulder is rounded and the neck is short and flared; the top is flat. The wall curves towards the base, which rests on an annular foot. The bottom is recessed and flat. The handle is vertical and oval in cross-section. The upper end rests on the shoulder, while the lower end rests on the wall. The pouring spout is swan-neck molded, and flares out at its junction with the wall; its opening is slanted and circular in shape. There is a mark made by printing in black under the base: a laurel wreath closed at the top by a medallion featuring the coat of arms of Great Britain surrounded by : VICTORIA AND ALBERT / MUSEUM. The center of the wreath reads: Worcester / FINE PORCELAIN / 1985 FRANKLIN MINT; Transfer-printed in blue. It covers the outer wall, the spout and the handle. It features a Chinese motif. Under the rim is a latticework braid regularly interrupted by a plant motif framed by arched lines. The wall is decorated with the same scene reproduced on the opposite walls: on an uneven terrace, a woman and child face each other in profile, the child holding a long pole with a pennant; the figures are surrounded by two shrubs and a bird flies over them. The handle is adorned with a geometric motif, while the beak, on its upper and lower sides, is decorated with a plant motif.
