This 1887 commemorative teapot was produced to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1819-1901). June 20, 1887 marked the 50th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne. Celebrations and festivities were organized in her honor in the United Kingdom and throughout the British Empire, including Canada.
