Tea pot
The pot is complete; some cracks at the top have been repaired with glue. It is cylindrical in shape. Its wall is straight, topped by an angular shoulder, then by a cylindrical neck that tapers slightly towards the top; its top is flat. The pot rests on a circular foot in line with the wall, with a flat, glaze-free base. There is an incised ring in the center of the base. The decoration is applied by transfer printing and hand-painted; it is blue in color and features the Fence motif. The painted decoration is on the shoulder: it consists of two concentric rings. The printed decoration is visible on the opposite outer walls. The main motif consists of a fence made up of a few sections: some are straight, while others are arranged in a zig-zag pattern. The fence sections are cross-hatched, with a small, three-lobed opening in the center. A lobed rock borders the fence on the right. Leafy and flowering plant stems of varying scales adjoin the fence, including a long stem extending upwards; they are cross-hatched. On the opposite wall is a long rock with two heads, one of which is topped by three trees, while the other portion is topped by two curved plant stems of reeds or bamboos. It is separated by a stream from an island with an elongated, cross-hatched shape. It is surmounted by a hut with a curved straw roof, and adjoined by three trees; a lobed rock borders the island at water level. Waves made of horizontal lines strike the island and the rock. At the foot of the island, two stylized plant groups and small emerging rocks stand out. At the top of the wall, between the three zones, fly two birds seen in profile to the right. Their wings are pointing down and back.
