Sugared almond glass

The glass is complete; it is solid. It comprises a bowl, a stem and a foot. The bowl is bell-shaped: its base is flat and thick, its walls are almost straight, and the rim is flared outwards, with a straight top. The base of the bowl is highlighted by a flat ring. The stem is solid and cylindrical, flaring towards the sock. The foot is circular and conical in profile. The underside has a flat domed center with a trace of glass pontil, a tool used by the glassmaker to make glass. There are wear marks on the base; none other than the shape of the glass.
