Sugar bowl cover
The sugar bowl lid is complete. It is circular in shape. In cross-section, it has a flat top with a vertical rim. It has a vertical, circular grip knob with a slightly domed top. The lid is fitted with a ring-shaped collar set back from the rim, the support point of which is unglazed ; The decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, under glaze. It is vegetal and geometric. The decoration is found on the rim and top of the lid, as well as on the grip knob. The decoration on the rim consists of two wide, superimposed fillets. The decoration on the top is bordered by a fillet on the rim; it features the same mirrored motif: a central flower surrounded by trifoliate leaves, flanked by an undulating latticework from which leafy stems hang. At the ends of both motifs are mirrored scrolls, topped by four diamond-shaped pearls. The center is adorned with two concentric rings. The top of the button is adorned with two wide rings surrounding a central pearl.
