Sugar bowl
The sugar bowl is complete; there are a few marks on the rim at the top and enamel marks on the shoulder and base. It is circular in shape. The wall is high and almost straight, with an angular shoulder and horizontal top. The rim is a low ring in the center of the tray, with a flat top. The base is beveled. The bottom has a circular, glaze-free base, and the center is slightly domed. It has two massive vertical handles tapering towards the sock. The upper end is turned down and rests on the wall; the lower end is also turned down and rests on the wall, and has an elongated downward tail. The body is beige, and the enamel is white. The glaze on the underside has small needle holes; the decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is vegetal and geometric. The decoration is found on the wall and on the handles. The decoration on the wall is framed by a fillet at the top and another at the base; it consists of the same motif on the opposite walls, a central flower surrounded by trifoliate leaves, flanked by a wavy latticework from which leafy stems hang. Mirrored scrolls are added to the ends of both motifs. On either side of the handles, on the wall, there are four pearls arranged in a diamond pattern, and fan-shaped stems adorn the base of the wall on either side of the handles. The face of the handle is decorated with superimposed horizontal lines.
