There are two rectangular cartouches on the reverse of the stem: one is marked in relief: IG ,and the other: BERG: BERG; The decoration is molded on the end of the handle and under the spoon. The end of the handle is an elongated pearl with an Old English motif. The stem ends in a rat tail on the reverse of its junction with the spoon.
