Historical context

This rectangular plaque is a souvenir offered by Albert Dupuis, manager of the Montreal department store Dupuis Frères, to the various directors in 1938. That year, Albert took a trip to Europe with his wife. He brought back various souvenirs for employees, senior managers and directors alike.
