Saleron
The saleron is complete. It comprises a container resting on three identical feet. The container is circular in shape, with a low, swollen wall and a rounded base; the rim is also slightly swollen. The three feet are tapered at the bottom; their tops are welded to the outer body of the container, their stems are semi-elliptical and concave in cross-section; their bases are flared and their bottoms are flat. One of the feet is slightly damaged and bent; the decoration is molded in relief on the upper edge of the container and on the feet. The three feet are molded in the shape of fawn paws, and the top of their face is molded as an Egyptian lion’s head in a diamond-shaped mane. The outer rim is decorated with a row of gadroons.
