Saleron
The saleron is complete; a small chip is missing from the edge of the foot. It is rectangular with sides or octagonal. It consists of a receptacle mounted on a high foot. The receptacle is octagonal in shape, with a double-beveled bulging rim, a domed top and a flat base. It rests on a high, flared foot with a plain octagonal rim. The base is wide and stained with enamel. The underside of the foot is sunken. The body is pinkish-beige in color and covered with a glossy white enamel ; The decoration is hand-painted in two-tone blue and black underglaze. It is plant-like. It is visible on the bottom of the receptacle, on its rim and on the foot. The ends and sides of the receptacle’s top are decorated with a row of vertical lines of varying heights, topped with a horizontal line. The background is decorated with a leafy stem. The ends and sides of the foot are adorned with a leafy stem outlined in black and painted blue; a flower is added to the long sides. The edge of the foot is decorated with a fillet.
