Saleron

The saleron is complete, with a few chips on the edge of the body and around the foot. The body is oval with pointed ends; the top of the long sides is slightly concave. In profile, the body is oval, truncated at the top, with a domed inner base. It rests on a solid oval stem. The full foot is also oval with pointed ends, and flares out at the bottom. The foot is diamond-shaped with a double bearing, and its rim is straight and elevated. The underside is flat, with a domed center ; The decoration is carved. It is present on the rim, on the outer wall of the body, on the stem, on the foot and under the foot. The shape of the saleron is molded. The decoration is geometric. The top of the rim is cut into angular crenellations with two facets on the outside. The upper outer half of the body features a horizontal braid bordered by a groove. It is adorned with a row of vertical, four-faceted lozenges; the lozenges are separated at the top and base by a row of double-faceted triangles. The lower half of the body is adorned with wide vertical flutes with slightly domed ends; a thin, narrow horizontal projection highlights the upper part of the flutes. The body rests on a stem cut into flats that widen at the base; the top of the stem has a slight flat horizontal projection.
