Rummer glass
The glass is complete. It is solid. It comprises a bowl, a stem and a foot. The bowl has a straight upper half, with a straight edge, while its lower half is conical, extending towards the stem. The stem is a solid spindle-shaped cylinder, with a flat-ring top and base, one of which connects to the cup, the other to the foot. The foot is circular with a truncated cone-shaped profile. There is a central pontil mark under the base. There are traces of wear on the foot’s fulcrum. There is an oval area on the outer wall, below the rim, which has been scraped with a tool: an engraved inscription can be seen through the scrape marks: 28 L (probably) ; None, other than the shape of the stem, which is a full spindle.
