Portrait de Montcalm
This engraving depicts a man (Louis-Joseph Marquis de Montcalm) in a medallion wearing an 18th-century uniform and headdress. Below the medallion is a bas-relief illustration of an injured person on a stretcher. At the bottom, text is inscribed in black. Represents the death of General Montcalm the day after the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City.
