Pot
The pot is complete. It is circular in shape. In profile, the wall is straight at mid-height, the shoulder is dropped and the neck is narrowed, ending in a straight rim with a domed top. The lower half of the wall is tapered towards the base, which is wider than the wall and slightly tapered towards the sock. The pot rests on a flat base. The pot is fitted with two small, thick, vertical handles, the ends of which are joined to the shoulder and the wall at mid-height. The lower end is flattened and flared. The body is orange-red and well-baked. The entire inner surface of the object is covered with white slip, which also covers the upper outer half of the pot and the handles. All these surfaces are also covered with a colorless glaze. There are raised glaze drops on the rim and top of the handles. The glaze on the outer wall is missing ; none other than the white slip and colorless glaze covering the upper half of the pot’s outer surface, as well as the handles. The handles, which have been molded separately, have a vertical central groove on their outer surface.
