Pot
The pot is complete. It is circular in shape. In profile, the wall is domed, the shoulder is rounded and the neck is slightly flared, ending in a straight rim with a domed top. The base is swollen and the pot rests on a flat bottom. The pot is fitted with two small vertical handles of oval cross-section; their ends are joined to the shoulder and the wall at mid-height. Their lower end is flattened and flared. The body is orange-red and well-fired. All surfaces are covered with white slip, with the exception of the lower part of the outer wall, the base, the underside of the bottom and the handles. The inner surface is also covered with a colorless glaze. The glaze on the outer wall is missing in three places. The glaze covering the outer surface of the pot, as well as the handles, is decorated with clouds of iron oxide. The handles, which have been molded separately, have two vertical grooves on their outer surface.
