Pot

The pot is complete. It is circular in shape. The shoulder is rounded and the neck is narrowed; the rim is flared and the top is domed. It has an elongated oval spout. The wall is swollen and narrowed above its swollen base. It rests on a pedestal, the base of which is partially free of glaze. The base is recessed and flat, with the exception of the center, which features a small conical depression. The handle is vertical. The top is concave, with a massive bulge at the junction with the vertical portion. Oval in cross-section, its ends are turned down and rest on the neck and wall, ending in a molded scroll; the decoration is molded and plastered. The pot is covered on the outside with a copper lustre coating and a band of engobe. Moulded decoration is visible on the outer wall and on the spout. The outer wall features a sharp horizontal bulge at its junction with the shoulder. The spout is palmette-molded. The slip decoration forms a band on the neck. The slip is pale blue in color, covered with a colorless glaze and painted vegetal decoration in lustrous copper and green and orange enamels over glaze. The inner wall, with the exception of the neck, is covered with a white slip, itself covered with a colorless glaze; the neck is covered with a copper coating. The handle is molded separately and features a molded scroll pattern.
