Cette affiche officielle des Jeux olympiques de Montréal de 1976 est ornée du logo emblématique conçu par Georges Huel (1930-2002). En 1970, Montréal, sous la direction du maire Jean Drapeau, obtient l’organisation de cet évènement. Première nationale, ces Jeux ancrent davantage Montréal sur la scène internationale.
