Plate
The plate is complete; there are slight enamel chips around the rim. The plate is circular, with an undulating rim. In cross-section, the rim is in line with the marli, which slopes towards the bottom; the wall is very low and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate has a flat bottom and is truncated cone-shaped. The base of the plate is angular. The body is pinkish-beige and covered with a bluish-white glaze. Three traces of linear, triangular pernettes are visible under the marli. There are slight flaws in the enamel, including enamel holes on the reverse. The plate’s support point shows traces of wear ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome blue underglaze, and red, yellow, green and black overglaze. The painted decoration is floral. The molded decoration is visible around the rim of the plate. The painted decoration is applied to the marli and the inner base. The border is decorated with a wavy braid featuring two alternately repeated motifs. The braid is outlined in black and trimmed with a trellis outlined in green. One of the motifs features a central trifoliate element outlined in red with continuous veins, from which hang three leafy stems outlined in black and painted blue and green. From this central motif, two long scrolls in black and yellow border the braid, with two three-leaf stems hanging from them. The other motif is a small blue-painted pearl that joins two heads of scrolls; from this small pearl hangs a large blue-painted pearl. The background is decorated with a leafy, flowering stem in black. The leaves are painted green and blue, while the flowers are painted red.
