Ceramic plate with warm cobalt blue and white printed decoration and floral borders, belonging to a set of twelve called “Old English – 12 months series”. Each plate represents a month of the year. October”: a young boy, in a country setting, advances holding a stick in his left hand. A piglet precedes him, with a few crows circling nearby. In the background, from left to right, a bridge, a forest and a building on the right complete the picture.
