Plate
The plate is complete. It is circular with a plain rim. The rim is flat, the wall low and curved towards the bottom, which is slightly domed and has no foot. On the reverse, the edge of the fold is folded back on itself and slightly domed. There are four impressed marks below the bottom: LONDON in an elongated, slightly curved oval cartouche. Below this cartouche are three others, each enclosing a different symbol: an octagonal cartouche enclosing a five-pointed star, an oval cartouche enclosing the letter J with an arrow through it, and a four-lobed cartouche enclosing the letter A flanked by two stars; The plain border is the main decorative element on this plate.
