Plate

The plate is complete; the glaze around the rim has disappeared. It is circular with a plain rim. On the front, the rim is narrow and inclined towards the bottom, and the low wall curves towards the flat bottom. On the reverse, the plate is truncated cone-shaped with a flat central base. The reverse glaze is pitted with small holes. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a white glaze. There are three traces of a pernette in a triangular pattern on the reverse. The enamel on the front is shiny. The inner base shows linear marks. The underside has numerous wear marks; the decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is vegetal and geometric. The decoration is found on the marli and on the bottom. The decoration on the marli is close to the edge; it consists of a fillet close to the edge supporting a row of trifoliate motifs, between which an oblique line is inserted. The decoration on the background is encircled by a ring of links; it consists of a disk with a reserved core, the perimeter of which is decorated with pointed triangles, like a sun.
