Piggy bank pocket
First National Bank pocket money box. This small, flat chrome-plated case is round in shape. It has a slot on the edge. A red label with the bank’s lettering appears on the top. A lock and a blue label with inscriptions are placed on the back. The piggy bank has a small counter.

Historical context
At the turn of the 20th century, piggy banks became one of the preferred means of promotion for American banking institutions. The boxes remained the property of the bank, and were leased to depositors so that they could fill them up and deposit their savings in the bank. The latter make use of the many manufacturers on the market, the vast majority of whom offer similar models.
