Ointment jar
The pot is incomplete; a small portion of the rim is missing, as is a portion of the slip and glaze. It is cylindrical in shape with a plain rim. In cross-section, its wall is domed, its shoulder rounded, its neck short, constricted and its rim flared outwards. It rests on a high, strangled base, whose straight rim features a small horizontal groove. The base has a wide, uneven, slip-free base, with a slightly domed center. The body is red in color, covered with a white slip over which a copper-green colored glaze has been applied ; None, except for the shape of the object and the white slip under the green colored glaze.
