Oiler
The oiler is complete. It is circular and pear-shaped in cross-section. The wall is domed, the shoulder rounded and topped by a long, slightly tapering neck. The neck has a flat, wide, slightly uneven top. The base of the wall curves towards the pedestal, which is hollow and circular in shape; its fulcrum is flat and wide. The bottom is sunken into a cone shape, with a circular pontil mark on the blowpipe. It has a vertical handle; hollow, it is pinched on its vertical portion to form a groove. Its upper end is folded down and rests on the ground. Its lower end opens into an open oval that rests on the wall, open at the junction point. It is fitted with a swan-neck spout; wide at its junction with the wall, it is tapered towards its end, which is vertical ; None, apart from the shape of the object.
