The mug is complete. It is cylindrical with a wall that flares out at the top. The top is domed. It rests on a wide base and the bottom is almost flat, the center being slightly domed. The mug has two massive vertical handles, slightly concave on the front and slightly domed on the back. Its ends rest against the wall. The body is dark red and well-fired. There is a mark printed in black below the base, in two registers: PLIMOTH PLANTATION; The decoration is molded and plastered.
