The stein is complete; a few chips are missing from the rim and a long crack and break have been consolidated with wire. It is cylindrical in shape. The wall is very slightly tapered at the top. The rim is recessed and slightly tapered at the top; the top is flat and thin. The base is swollen. It rests on a slightly sunken, domed base with a textured surface and an uneven, worn fulcrum. The handle is vertical and solid. Oval in cross-section, its upper end rests on the wall below the rim, while the other rests on the wall. A long crack, which extends from the rim to the base before skirting the latter, has been consolidated by means of two superimposed iron wires, placed on the upper decorated area of the wall; the two wires show some slight detachments, and the ends of each have been twisted then cut and probably also filed ; The decoration is incised. The main decoration, on the upper and lower parts of the wall, consists of two superimposed bands of incised grooves, separated by a plain zone. The coating that covers the outer and inner surfaces of the object gives it a certain decoration, thanks to its iron oxide coloration. There are three aligned beads incised on the top of the handle.
