Mug
The stein is complete. It is cylindrical in shape. The wall is slightly tapered towards the rim, which is straight. It rests on an extended foot, the base of which is free of glaze. The bottom is recessed and flat. The handle is vertical. Oval in shape and cross-section, its ends are folded down and rest on the wall. There is a flat oval poucier at the top of the handle. Incised, concentric turning rings run under the bottom. Black plaster is visible under the bottom. There appear to be three small traces of a pernette in a triangular pattern under the foot; the decoration is coated. A black coating covered with a colorless, shiny glaze covers all surfaces of the object.
