Milk jug
The milk jug is complete. It is cylindrical in shape; in cross-section, its wall is slightly tapered at the top. The rim, highlighted on the outside by a small horizontal bulge, is slightly flared, with a slightly domed top. The base has a small swollen step, and is beveled towards the bottom, which is slightly domed. The pot is fitted with a vertical ear-shaped handle; almost flat oval in cross-section, its ends are folded down before resting on the wall and its ends are almost flat. The pot has a small, oval-shaped spout at the top, set at right angles to the handle. The body is beige and soft; the pot is covered inside and out with an opaque dark-brown glaze, except for the base and the underside of the bottom, which are glaze-free. It seems unlikely that a coating was applied to the surface beneath the glaze; the pot is covered on the outside and inside with an opaque dark-brown glaze. The handle, which has been molded separately, has a vertical bulge in the center of its face.
