Contract François Montmorency de Laval (first bishop of Quebec): sale of a concession on the Beaupré coast Old signed document. Contract of sale. [Château-Richer or Québec], [8] pages, in-octavo Inventaire des notaires, tome 7, page 215: “Vente de Jean Marchand, Marie Ayat, et héritiers de Jean Guyon Dubuisson et Hélisahethe Couillard à Guillaume Guyon”. This document, the seigneur’s copy (?), is enriched by a 3-line text written by François, former bishop of Quéhec [François de Laval, retired bishop]. It is a release he is making since he has received the rights to the lots and rents for the transaction that took place in his Seigneurie de Beaupré.
