Jar

The jar is complete. It is cylindrical in shape. Its wall is rounded, the shoulder is rounded, the neck is constricted and the rim is flared with a rounded top. The wall is tapered towards the base, which is straight and high; the inner base is domed, while the underside is flat. The jar has two vertical handles, oval in cross-section and tapering downwards; their upper end rests on the neck, while their lower end is folded downwards and rests on the wall. The lower ends of the handles are flattened and oval. The body is red and well-fired; the entire inner surface of the jar, as well as its top and upper outer third, including the handles, is covered with a thick, colorless glaze with dark brown and yellow flecks. There are glaze slides on the outer wall ; None, apart from yellow particles in the colorless glaze.
