Inkwell
The inkwell is complete; a small area on the top near the rim has been repainted. It is heart-shaped, with a flat top. In cross-section, the rim of the top and base are bulging. The sides are straight. The center of the top is pierced by a large circular opening; near the rim, three smaller circular openings are arranged in a triangle. The underside is flat and unglazed. The body is pinkish-beige with quartz inclusions. The glaze is white and shiny; the decoration is hand-painted in polychrome blue underglaze, and probably green, yellow, orange and violet overglaze. It is geometric in style. The decoration is applied to the top of the inkwell and to its outer wall. The top is adorned with three similar leafy stems arranged in a triangle; they are outlined in violet, orange and green. A ring of green-painted pearls surrounds the small circular openings. The rim of the top has a pale green fillet. The wall is decorated with two motifs. The upper pattern consists of half-oval lines in purple, with a green pearl at the lower tips; the half-oval lines each border three superimposed curved lines painted orange. The lower motif is a broad green line, on which a row of purple half-ovals is painted.
