Inkwell

The inkwell is complete; broken, it has been repaired with glue. It is cylindrical in shape, with an angular, conical shoulder; the neck is shaped like a bulging ring with a flat top. The base is beveled. The base is slightly domed. The body is gray in color, covered with a brown ferrous coating and a salt glaze, giving it a shiny appearance. There is a slight defect on the neck ; none, apart from the light and dark brown coating that covers the entire surface of the inkwell, as well as the underside of the bottom; the salt glaze gives a shiny appearance to a portion of the surface.
