Grease trap
A grease trap whose wall is made of a thin sheet of wood assembled in an oval shape. The two ends of the sheet overlap and are sewn into two parallel vertical rows of thin cordage. The bottom is made of a relatively thin piece of wood (0.4cm). The wall and bottom are assembled with small wooden dowels: 11 in all. A hole drilled near the top rim is used to hang the object. Never had a lid. The bottom is partly covered with old newspapers written in French.
