Gourd

The gourd is incomplete: one of its handles is broken and missing. It is circular in shape. In cross-section, the wall is swollen at mid-height; the top is conical, while the lower half is truncated cone-shaped. The base is slightly swollen and uneven, while the bottom is flat. The gourd was fitted with two horizontal handles; the preserved handle is oval in profile, with a wide groove on its outer surface. Its ends flare out and attach to the wall of the gourd at mid-height. Between the handles, also halfway up the gourd, is a small horizontal cylindrical neck, ending in a mouth with a high, tapering lip towards the mouth; the inside of the mouth is tapered towards the opening leading to the body of the gourd. The turning rings are visible on the outer wall. The surface is reddish-brown in places; None.
