This full-color map is divided in two: the upper part shows the Northern Hemisphere from the 120th meridian to the 330th meridian, from Russia to eastern Canada. The lower part is a Japanese map showing the same view. The countries are colored in different shades to differentiate them. Text is written vertically on both sides of the lower map. Published in Encyclopédie ou Dictionnaire raisonné des sciences, des arts et des métiers.
