Fuddling cup

The container is complete. It consists of three identical vessels, connected by a pair of handles. Each vessel is circular in shape, with a domed wall, a straight cylindrical neck and a domed lip at the top. It rests on a straight foot with a flat base. Each vessel has two horizontal handles, one on the neck and the other on the wall; the pairs of handles twist at mid-length. The body is dark red, well-fired, while the glaze is glossy white. There is an intaglio mark on the underside of one of the vessels: © 1991 MMA; none, other than the whiteness of the enamel.
