Deep dish
The dish is complete. It is rectangular with sides, or octagonal. It has a narrow, flat wing with a rounded edge. The wall is high and sloping towards the flat bottom. The dish rests on an oval foot, the base of which is unglazed. The foot is pierced by two aligned suspension holes, the inside of which is glaze-coated. The body is a pinkish-beige color, and the object is covered with a glossy white enamel. There appears to be a blue-painted mark under the bottom: 3; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue underglaze. It is geometric and chinoiserie in style. The molded decoration is visible on the outer wall. The wall is decorated with vertical fluting, from the wing to the foot. The decoration is painted on the wing and on the base. The wing is decorated with a braid. It is decorated with two repeated motifs. The main motif consists of a double latticework with pearls on one side and crosses on the other. It is interrupted by an oval flower in reserve on a blue background, with a wavy outline and a blue-painted core. The background features a three-quarter view of a man with oriental hair and clothing, seated on a stylized rock. He holds a fan-shaped leafy stem in one hand. It is bordered by round, pointed, hanging flowers and a fence post topped by a ball.
