Deep dish
The deep dish is complete; there are a few enamel chips around the rim, particularly at the corners, and chips on the rim and reverse. The dish is oval in shape, with a wavy rim. In cross-section, the wing is sloping, less so than the wall, which has a rounded base, and the bottom is flat. The base is recessed and rests on a wide oval foot with concave sides, whose base is unglazed. The body is pinkish-beige in color and covered with a bluish-white glaze. There are burrs of enamel under the dish, near the rim, and chips on the reverse. Three traces of linear and triangular pernettes are visible on the underside of the dish and on the inner rim. The inner base of the dish shows areas of amati enamel. The foot has a pair of circular holes, the inside wall of which is covered with enamel. There is a green painted mark on the reverse: P (underlined); the decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome. The molded decoration can be seen on the wall, with rounded ribs at the corners. The painted decoration was traced and painted in blue and violet underglaze, then in red and green overglaze. It is of the compartmented braid and floral basket type. The decoration is painted on the wing and in the center of the base. The wing is decorated with a braid. The braid is outlined in purple. It features two alternating motifs. One is in reserve on a background painted faded blue: it consists of mirrored elements: a central half-flower surrounded by two scrolls, followed by two quarter-flowers and a pearl. The flower has a blue-painted core, while the quarter-flowers and pearls are adorned with red radiating lines. The other motif is a latticework drawn in red and trimmed with off-center pearls painted in blue; it imitates fish scales. These two motifs are separated by a half-flower made of green radiating lines; it is set in two green-painted bands, while the sides are in reserve. The background features a flowery basket. The basket is truncated cone-shaped, with a flat swollen base and a flat swollen rim; it is traced in purple and divided into vertical sections traced in the same way and painted in faded blue; the rendering of the basket imitates rattan. From the top of the basket emerge a central half-flower flanked by two flowers and leafy plant stems. All these elements are outlined in purple. The half-flower is adorned with red radiating lines, and the other flowers are painted faded blue, with a core adorned with two red lines. Some leaves are painted blue, while others are green, with the exception of two leaves with red lines. Two red tendrils hang from each side of the basket. The basket rests on a splayed base, traced in violet and decorated with horizontal lines painted red; this base is set on a leafy terrace traced in violet and painted blue; the leaves are traced en suite and painted green.
