Deep dish
The dish is complete; some breaks have been repaired with iron spikes and some areas have been filled with plaster. It is rectangular with sides or octagonal. In cross-section, it has a sloping, domed wing with a straight, evenly contoured edge. The wall is high and sloping towards the bottom, which is slightly domed. On the reverse, the dish rests on an octagonal foot, the base of which is unglazed. The foot has two aligned circular holes, the inside walls of which are covered with glaze; they are broken. The body is pinkish-beige with quartz inclusions. The enamel is bluish-white. The reverse features seven studs made from a double rod of rusted iron, the ends of which are inserted into as many pairs of drilled holes; they are held in place by a beige paste ; The decoration is hand-painted; it has been traced and painted in blue underglaze and in polychrome of red, yellow and green overglaze. It is of the Chinese Pagoda type, in the colors of the Chinese Green Family. The painted decoration is applied to the inner wing and base, as well as to the outer wall. The wing is adorned with a wide blue braid, trimmed with a wide blue trellis and painted green with red tips. In the center, near the edge, the latticework is adorned with a half-flower traced and painted red, with a latticework heart traced in blue and painted yellow. The latticework is interrupted at the corners by a motif bordered by arched bands traced in blue and painted yellow; the main motif is a shrimp traced and painted red, surrounded by sea urchins traced in blue and painted green. The background decoration is a terrace traced in blue and painted green, which is adorned with grasses traced in red with blue highlights. The terrace supports a long wall with gates, traced in red and made of a latticework traced in red, with highlights painted in yellow and blue. It is bordered by long leafy stems, traced in blue and painted in blue and green with yellow highlights, supporting flowers traced and painted in red with yellow highlights. Behind the wall stand two pagodas drawn in red and painted blue and yellow, each supporting a flag drawn in red and painted yellow with blue highlights. A red tree stands between them. A bird and a winged insect fly over the scene; traced in blue, they are painted in blue, red, yellow and green. The outer wall is adorned with four similar branches, traced in red, trimmed with green-painted foliage and flowers traced in red and painted in blue and yellow; they are arranged in a cross. The corners are adorned with a blue loop.
