Creamer

Duplessis dinnerware collection from the National Assembly. At the end of the 1940s, the Café du Parlement on Quebec City’s Grand Allée was equipped with its own assortment of tableware. On the initiative of Maurice Duplessis’s government, students in the artistic advertising course at the École des beaux-arts de Québec are invited to submit proposals in which the fleur-de-lis is given pride of place. Jean-Paul Charland’s project was chosen from all the proposals received.
