The object is complete. The top is oval, while the bottom is cross-shaped. In profile, the object has a flared wall topped by a rounded shoulder, a flared neck and a rounded rim on the outside, the top of which is tapered; the top of the long sides is rounded. The base is straight and high, while the bottom is flat. The object is fitted with two small horizontal gripping knobs placed at the ends, under the outer rim; they are circular in shape and their ends are deformed. Inside, the rim is flared, the wall is flared towards the top and the bottom is flat. The body is pinkish-beige in color; it is covered everywhere, with the exception of the inner wall and bottom, with a white slip, which has flowed onto the inner wall in one place. Everywhere, except on the inner rim and under the bottom, this slip is covered with a colored glaze with metal oxides, which has run over the inner rim and under the bottom; there is a drop of green colored glaze on the inner bottom. There are traces of pernette under the bottom; The decoration is molded, scraped and produced by colored metal oxides mixed with the glaze. The molded decoration has given this object its concave-cornered cross shape, particularly at the bottom. Scratched decoration is visible on the lower two-thirds of the outer wall and on the gripping knobs. It takes the form of deep vertical striations made by hand with a tool, some of which cross near the ends. The ridges are surrounded at the top by a horizontal groove that abuts the knobs. The upper third of the outer wall features small, superimposed, barely perceptible horizontal grooves. The surface of the knobs is scattered with short horizontal striations in one case, and vertical striations in the other. The outer surface of the object is covered with a glaze colored with iron and copper oxides, in the form of clouds and slides.
