Compotier
The compotier is complete; there are a few enamel chips around the rim, particularly at the corners, and a chip on the reverse. The compotier is octagonal with a plain outline. In cross-section, the wing is inclined, less so than the wall, which is also inclined towards the bottom before curving towards the bottom, which is flat. The bottom rests on an annular foot with a truncated cone-shaped cross-section. The body is pinkish-beige in color and covered with a bluish-white glaze; the foot is unglazed. There are enamel smudges under the compotier, near the rim, as well as a few small holes in the enamel on the reverse. Three traces of linear and triangular pernettes are visible under the wall. The foot is pierced by two aligned circular holes, the inner wall of which is covered with enamel; one of the holes is broken; the decoration is hand-painted in polychrome. The painted decoration was traced and painted in blue underglaze, then in red, yellow and green overglaze. It features compartmentalized braid and a spray of flowers. The decoration is painted on the wall below the rim and in the center of the background. The wall is decorated with a braid. The braid is outlined in blue. It is decorated with two alternating motifs. One is a latticework pattern in red with green pearls. The other is a latticework pattern in red with off-center pearls in green, imitating fish scales. These two motifs are separated by a half-flower traced in red; it is set in two yellow-painted bands, while the sides are in reserve. The background is decorated with a spray of flowers. Two curved plant stems rise from a single trunk; traced in blue, they are trimmed with leaves traced in the same way and painted green and yellow. These curved plant stems have four different flowers. These flowers are outlined in blue; one is painted faded blue, two are outlined in red, and one is outlined in red. Two have a yellow core with green beads. A red tendril emerges from the whole.
