Coffee mug
The cup is complete. It is circular in shape. The wall is slightly narrowed at mid-height, with a flared rim at the flat top. At the base, the wall is curved towards the sock, which is flat. It rests on a ring-shaped foot. The underside of the base is recessed and domed. The cup has an ear-shaped vertical handle. Its ends are turned downwards and its lower end is oval-shaped. There is a mark painted in black under the base, in four registers: HB / Granville / Ferry / NS; the decoration is hand-painted in polychrome blue, red and green. It is visible on the outer wall and on the handle. It consists of a straight latticework painted blue, with stars and V’s painted green at the junction points; stars painted red adorn the interior of the latticework. The surface of the handle is adorned with dashes painted blue, while the sides are adorned with a broad line painted in continuation. The outer edge of the foot features a wide blue-painted fillet.
