Coffee mug
The cup is complete. It is cylindrical in shape. The wall is straight, topped by a straight rim with a flat top. The cup rests on a flat foot in line with the wall. The base is free of glaze. The bottom is recessed and flat. The handle is vertical and ear-shaped, with an oval ring on its upper half. The upper part of the handle rests on the wall; at its lower junction, the handle is folded downwards and has a pointed end ; The decoration is painted and applied by overglaze printing (Bat printed). The painted decoration is gilded, while the printed decoration is black and features a romantic or rural English motif. The printed decoration is visible on the outer wall. It consists of two different romantic rural scenes on opposite walls. One scene shows a large country house with annexes, whose grounds are covered with sock vegetation, shrubs and a tall tree. The other scene shows a hilly field, covered with grass, shrubs and clustered trees. Near the trees, two men walk towards tall sock buildings in front of the ruins of a fortified castle. The sky is covered with clouds. There is a golden fillet on the edge, as well as on the cove.
