The candlestick is complete, except for a small chip on the rim. A metal pipe has been added to the container. Cylindrical and straight, it has a flat base and a conically flared neck; its rim is straight and it is fitted, on the inside, with two copper-plated metal tongues, folded in on themselves, welded to the neck and each holding a small copper-plated metal ring ; The decoration is hand-painted in monochrome white on a dark blue glaze. This decoration is known as the Persian decoration of Nevers. It is vegetal in style. The decoration is found on the neck, shoulder and wall. The decoration on the neck is inscribed between two pairs of superimposed horizontal fillets. It consists of a row of pairs of vertical lines framing a pearl. The decoration on the shoulder is also inscribed between fillets; it consists of a wavy line separating two rows of three-leaf plant motifs. The main decoration on the wall, also filleted, consists of leafy stems in bloom. The decoration on the lower part of the wall is identical to that on the shoulder.
