Chair
Île d’Orléans” type chair with a frame-shaped back decorated in the center with a scroll cut into the center of two congruent circles and an oval. The upper crosspiece is wide and its ends are scalloped. Legs with ”H” braces. The “H” brace, front bar, waistband and bottom crossbar are molded. The front and rear uprights are chamfered. The seat, made from a single plank of wood, is pegged to the belt. Mortise and tenon joint, pegged. Green painting on red. American-influenced backrest.
