Document surmounted by the royal coat of arms and the motto “Dieu et mon Droit”, headed Canada, province of Quebec, district of Montreal, granting Albert Thomas, master barber of the city and district of Montreal, the title of Commissioner. Authorization given on June 30, 1937, 1st year of the reign of His Majesty King George VI, by the Honourable Ch. A. Duclos, Judge of the Superior Court. The document also bears an intact red seal of the Quebec Superior Court, signed by Judge Duclos and Deputy Prothonotary J. Duhamel.
