Carbonated water bottle
The bottle is complete. It is cylindrical in shape, with an angular shoulder; the neck is conical, short and straight. The neck has a swollen lip with a flat, narrow top, and a screw thread on the inside. The base is beveled. The bottom is slightly domed. The body is gray; the top is covered with a brown ferrous coating and a colorless liquid glaze, giving it a shiny appearance. There is a mark printed in black on the outer wall, in three registers, the first and last being arched: BULLARD & SONS Ld TRADE (anchor) MARK NORWICH. An oval cartouche on the lower part of the wall encloses a mark in three registers: . BOURNE 19 DENBY. … ; The upper part of the bottle, i.e. the neck and mouth, are covered with a brown ferruginous coating. The bottle is covered with a colorless liquid glaze that gives the surface a shiny appearance.
